Residency is moving so very fast. Every day is a bit of blur while I try to keep up. It feels like climbing medical Everest. I'm just really grateful that my program values good TEACHING, and because of that during our initial shifts we were all partnered 1:1 with a senior resident. It's one thing to take care of patients and figure out what to treat/what tests to order, but it's a completely separate puzzle to navigate a new system of paging and calls and consults.

So I've been extremely busy, but good busy. I feel like I'm doing good work, like I picked the right place, and like I'm growing like I should.
