Cuz I vote Peter is about to some skeletons.

One of the things that was never really shown in the comic (since I didn't think it was too important past a page or two) was that when most of the world died, they did so in their homes, or in their cars, trying to get away from the 2nd strike against humanity: the flu. (The first strike is shown in the 6 page, colored prequel available for digital purchase -->). What wasn't destroyed in strike 1 left a lot of homes to pillage. This home however, does not look in too good of shape. We'll see what's left for dear ol Peter.
