Arc 6- Alpha Wolfe - Page 12
May 18, 2011

Ok, I want to draw attention to a certain detail in today's page, but I'll wait and see who gets it first.

This week's comic spotlight is on Between Places. Between Places is a somewhat trippy, emotionally-grounded fantasy story about worlds that Dreamers create, and what happens when fantasies get out of hand and people want to destroy those worlds. It follows the story of a girl named Rease, and the worlds she creates, where what happens there is real. It's like Inception with elves, magic and elementals, except Between Places was there first! Gosh I'm sucking at this synopsis thing.

My move date to Syracuse is quickly approaching! Can't believe it really. Kinda freaky, but mostly exciting. Whole new spectrum of possibilities out there, and I'm out-of-my-mind excited to start this next adventure. It also helps that I finally finished my thesis, and submitted it, and will be defending it next Thursday. Wow! This master's career went by in a flash! Soon you will address me as...MASTER KEZ. Mistress? Nah, too bondage.

Anywho, gotta get a presentation together, start packing (yes, start, ugh) and of course, try to get comics up on time. What this brings me to is the point that I haven't been able to work on commissions for quite some time now, so if any readers out there would like to support me/these comics by buying print issues (1-5 are available, and they all printed BEAUTIFULLY) of What it Takes, I'd be exceedingly grateful. You can find that in the store. Also, a mere $10 more gets Colbey sketched as an anime school girl. Yes, I have standards, they're just lower when I'm broke.^^;

Ah oh! Any pre-med students out there? I have a box of Kaplan MCAT in a Box flashcards for sale. They're only lightly used, $25 (includes shipping anywhere). I think they retail at $35-40. Shoot me an email at warofwinds@gmail.com to buy. Please, someone take them before I burn them and dance upon their ashes. Bitter much, Kez?

More Peter goodness on Friday. Until then, go read Between Places.
