In all honesty though, I think I was little overly hopeful about returning on the 5th. My first thesis draft is due on the 3rd, but then I have 2 weeks of major revisions in addition to finishing up a HUGE slew of experiments. Let me tell you, when you scientific shit goes on backorder WITHOUT INFORMING YOU, you are in for a really bad time D:
I am however posting stuff on Patreon (open to the public) somewhat regularly, from Chapter 3 edits to the only drawing I'm letting myself do--thesis figures.
We have somehow, uh, however, dropped a ton of patrons in the last few weeks, and we are no longer at 2 extra updates per month :( I dunno if cards are getting declined or you guys are just kinda fed up with this break while I wrap up my degree, but no hard feelings either way. The only thing we all can do is our best. <3
Colbey's kicking me in the brain, lol.
I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, that What it Takes would be complete before I defended my PhD thesis, but that is not the case. I will be defending my thesis in early May, and right now is crunch time. Super crunch time. Panic inducing crunch time. And push has met shove. And I'm not gonna screw up the ending of this story just to be done at a convenient time.
I need a minimum 2 week sanity break. I'll work on the comic as I'm able. It's not an indefinite hiatus by any means. I just need to get some solid progress done before I can carve out time again to work on this. Justice must be done to both bodies of work.
Patrons will get to see any progress that I make in the mean time.
Sorry, but not really. My stress ulcer needs a vacation.
Hopefully back 3/27. Will keep everyone updated.
